Our Story

The owners of Mountain Thyme Weddings and Events are two chefs who met in the mountainous wine district of the canton Valais in Switzerland.

Both chefs grew up in very different locations; Chef David grew up in New York City and New England exposed to all the cuisines of the world. But he found his true love working here in New England working for restaurants and companies of Cape Cod and Boston. Dave’s travels to Austria and working in Prague and New York City helped him hone his craft. Chef Bryan’s love for food was inspired by his parents love of travel and his grandfather a passionate dairy farmer and agriculture farmer; who’s farm provided quite a bit of the food that his family ate. Chef Bryan worked in several acclaimed locations in both Europe and the Southeastern part of the United States.

Both chefs pursued degrees in hotel, restaurant and culinary education at the Swiss Hotel Association in Bluche-Crans Montana Switzerland before working in numerous restaurants and companies around the world. Both worked in a variety of locations such as Interlaken, Zurich, Prague, Atlanta, Orlando, Charlotte, Boston, and New York City. They both have worked international events such as the Oscars, Olympics, US Open Golf & Tennis and the NFL.

The chefs have created this beautiful location in the White Mountains and they look forward to sharing their sense of hospitality and delicious culinary expertise to you, your family and friends.
